Nale Nobody
“Nale Nobody” is a short story about a young woman who finds herself living in a society that she remains unfamiliar with. By chance, she receives a tool that initially ensures that she is noticed and perceived by others. Her struggle for perception and against insignificance as one person in billions of humans made her use – in the words of others ‒ drastic means. Her tool becomes her passion and eventually she transforms into what she does. The caterpillar becomes a butterfly. Completely obsessed by her new ‘super power’, her creativity becomes more and more extreme until she no longer remains unnoticed. My short story was inspired by the song ’Nicht Allein’ by Teleluke, Melchior & DJ Dookie. Maybe you want to listen to it, too.
