Bachelor Communication Design

In a time of information overload, enabling and helping to shape clear, effective and targeted communication is of paramount importance ‒ this is what design means to me. During my studies I learned to reinvent myself creatively as well as to think critically, to question concepts and to find innovative solutions.

Neighborhoodbanner

My bachelor project is the conception and implementation of aesthetic and informative street banners for the districts of Münster. Each banner includes native neighborhood branding that highlights and illustrates the specifics of the neighborhood.

On the one hand, the banners should attract the attention of passers-by, provide orientation and impart knowledge to tourists, but on the other create a sense of belonging for the residents of the neighborhood. The plan is to work with those responsible in the city of Münster to ensure that my designs meet the requirements and reflect the current image of the neighborhood. For this project, I was inspired by impressions of cityscapes I saw during my semester abroad in Canada.
