Adapdoor
A concept of modularity, exploring interactions with the door
The door is more than just an enclosure: With Adapdoor, users can customize their door according to their personal needs. Various modules add a wide range of functions and options for interaction to the door. The free positioning in rails and the simple assembly allow for individual solutions. Classic hooks, representative elements or interaction supports: Aesthetically and functionally developed, Adapdoor’s modules demonstrate that interaction with the door can be diverse and experiment with different concepts of handling.
The combination of design without compromise and the sustainability aspect have accompanied me in the process. I felt that the clarity of the door should be maintained, while the modules create space for interaction and flexibility. During the conception, the technical implementation, as well as the variety of possible applications inspired and challenged me in equal measure.
