Design can introduce new ideas to people and is most impressive when you don’t need to think about what it’s trying to tell you. To embed complex information and emotion in a design and make it easily understandable has been the goal for all of my creative processes. The opportunity to do this in a variety of projects has helped me become an open-minded designer.

Rhythm & Bits
Only few things speak to us on an emotional level the way music does. It evokes joy, sadness, courage, relaxation, and excitement. A certain sense of music and rhythm is present in all of us from an early age. This enables music to be the universal, cross-cultural language that it is. In my view, its greatest strength lies in its ability to serve as the center piece for social engagement and to connect people.
By using a projection mapping installation, I aim to make music visually tangible and to highlight its socially connecting qualities. The inherent collaborative possibilities for interaction allow visitors to collectively influence its visual and auditory content. Just like music itself, the installation serves as a mediator for a social experience.
Exploring the medium of projection mapping was particularly exciting for me as it allowed me to break free from the confines of the familiar rectangular display and create a blend of physical space and digital content.
