Read to children now!
Discovering the world with children.
Many parents find it difficult to read aloud to their children regularly. Reading aloud not only supports language development, but also promotes the child’s creativity, ability to concentrate and empathy. Children who have been read to regularly find it easier to learn to read by themselves and have less difficulty grasping the content of texts. Reading aloud is thus a wonderful way to development a kind of appreciation for reading and to experience adventures together. Nevertheless, the trend towards reading aloud is declining. With the aid of my bachelor project, I would like to counteract this and create incentives for regular reading aloud.
I spoke with many families and experts about the topic. It became apparent how differently reading aloud can be integrated into everyday life. Statements from these surveys were visualised in my project and animated for Instagram reels. My campaign also includes brochures and posters that can be hung up in pediatric practices.
