For me, design is not just a service, but above all the shaping of a statement that transcends medial boundaries through personal attitude and holistic design and has an impact on social thought and action.

NEUE MAHLZEIT

Our food culture is changing. What the generations before us still grew in the garden at home, we find today at any time of day or night in the supermarket. Naturally growing vegetables are systematically standardized, degraded to numbers & values and deformed into lifestyle products for the sake of sales. With the dwindling knowledge about food due to the loss of natural and unadulterated touch points, the appreciation for something that not only fills your stomach but also holds emotional value is also dwindling.

NEUE MAHLZEIT is a list of curated information enriched by photographs of vegetable varieties native to Germany, which, through the low-threshold preparation, is intended to stimulate an examination of the diversity of food culture and thus contribute to a new appreciation for vegetables and conscious food culture.
